a) $\text{mcm}(2, 5, 10) = 10$. Multipliquem per 10:
$5(3x - 1) - 2(x + 2) = 1(x + 7) \rightarrow 15x - 5 - 2x - 4 = x + 7 \rightarrow 13x - 9 = x + 7 \rightarrow 12x = 16 \rightarrow x = \frac{16}{12} = \mathbf{\frac{4}{3}}$.

b) $\text{mcm}(1, 3, 4) = 12$. Multipliquem per 12:
$12x - 4(2x - 5) = 3(x + 1) \rightarrow 12x - 8x + 20 = 3x + 3 \rightarrow 4x + 20 = 3x + 3 \rightarrow x = 3 - 20 \rightarrow \mathbf{x = -17}$.
